What is Plasma Blood Collection Tube?

It can be used for coagulation function tests, clinical chemistry for emergency treatment, blood rheology tests, glucose and lactate test molecular and biology tests (such as PCR).

Adding heparin lithium anticoagulant to the inert separation rubber tube can achieve the purpose of rapid separation of plasma. Potassium oxalate/sodium fluoride, sodium fluoride is a weak anticoagulant, generally used in combination with potassium oxalate or sodium ethiodate, the ratio is 1 part of sodium fluoride and 3 parts of potassium oxalate. It is an excellent preservative for blood glucose measurement, and cannot be used for the determination of urea by the urease method, nor for the determination of alkaline phosphatase and amylase. It is recommended for blood glucose detection. In the sodium citrate anticoagulation tube, sodium citrate mainly plays an anticoagulant effect by chelating with calcium ions in the blood sample and is suitable for coagulation tests.
