>> FAQ
Q1. What is a capillary tube in blood collection?
A: The Gongdong Capillary Blood Collection Tubes come pre-assembled with a capillary tube, central crossed rubber cap, and a micro tube. And they are suitable for a variety of applications.
The usage of the Capillary Blood collection Tube:
For collecting, transporting, and processing capillary blood, particularly in children and geriatric patients, when a little amount of blood sample is required, such as collecting blood for blood glucose concentration.
The capillary tube is coated with different additives and can be utilized for a variety of blood collection purposes.
Patients can experience less discomfort when using capillary blood collection tubes to obtain blood.
Draw the blood into the micro collection tube without scooping.
Ease-of-use with no assembly.
Q2. What is the difference between a capillary tube and micro collection tube?
A: Structural difference:
Capillary blood collection tube is composed of capillary tube, central crossed rubber cap, and a micro tube.
Micro collection tube is composed of screw cap and plastic tube with integrated collection scoop.
Operational difference:
Capillary blood collection tube is collected by micro tube with capillary action that the blood will flow into the tubes against the effect gravity. The cap of capillary tubes is made of rubber and has a "valve" on it. During blood collection, the collection strap can be penetrated through the rubber cover without opening the cover.
The micro blood collection tube uses integrated collection scoop to collect blood.
Application:
Capillary blood collection tube and micro blood collection tube are both used for obtaining specimens in infants or in adults where venipuncture is difficult. But the capillary blood collection tube is used more convenient.
