What is a bite block used for?

Bite blocks' primary functions are to rectify a misaligned bite and to protect braces brackets. They also serve to protect your teeth from injury while they shift throughout orthodontic treatment. The way your top and bottom teeth come into touch will often hinder the progress of your braces treatment, and an untreated deep bite can lead to gum disease and enamel erosion.
